The Moist Towelettes share their Summer Daydream

Those of you in Tokyo know that the weather in the last couple of days has gone directly from mild to sweltering. The heat and humidity have reminded us of just how moist summers in Tokyo can be. Well, where there’s moistness, you’ll find The Moist Towelettes!
Now that we’ve thawed out from a long and quiet winter (was our last post really January 1st?), we’ve gone back into the studio to gear up for what might be our best year yet. It all starts on Sunday, May 24th, with our first show of 2009, “The Moist Towelettes’ Summer Daydream”!
We’ll be performing two exciting sets, and there will be lots of surprises, the details of which we’ll reveal here over the next couple of weeks. We sat down to a delicious Italian dinner last night (pictured above), and hammered out all the details, including a grueling practice schedule, so however lofty your expectations, they’ll certainly be met. And if not, we’ll tell you where you can get some excellent pizza.
